Manchester
Manchester's production identity is anchored in Salford: MediaCityUK houses the BBC and ITV, with dock10's studio floors behind some of the country's longest-running shows. A few miles east, the Northern Quarter has built its own scene of digital agencies, design studios and independent producers, enough to make Manchester the country's second creative hub after London. Between the two, the city produces a steady stream of broadcast and branded video every week. We work alongside that scene from the Canary Islands, on the same clock as the UK, for the agencies and brands who commission out of Manchester and prefer a remote, AI-native workflow.
What we produce
Storyboards, animation, product content and live action + AI, all built from an agreed brief. Schedule and deliverables are set for each project.
We plan the narrative shot by shot, with art direction and approval criteria agreed in the brief before production begins.

Remote direction and post-production
Salford's MediaCityUK put Manchester on the broadcast map for good: the BBC and ITV both run full schedules out of dock10, with long-running shows filmed there year after year. A couple of miles away, the Northern Quarter has grown its own scene of digital studios, design agencies and independent producers, enough to make Manchester the country's second creative hub after London. We are not trying to book a slot on those studio floors. The briefing happens on a call, revisions happen on a phone, and delivery is a link, so a Salford address buys little extra on jobs like these. This is how we work internationally.
AI video production, internationalThe process
Before production starts, we document the scope, approval milestones and project terms.
We review objectives, audience, references, source materials, channels and constraints. The proposal defines scope, schedule, revision stages, formats and rights before production starts.
The first tangible material, a storyboard or style tests, to validate before producing. Changes happen here, where they are cheap.
Generation, editing and finishing under human direction, with approval points and revision stages defined for the project.
We deliver masters in the agreed formats and document permitted uses and applicable licences in the proposal and contract.
| Project variable | How it is defined |
|---|---|
| Scope and deliverables | In the brief and proposal |
| Schedule and milestones | According to complexity, source materials and approvals |
| Revision stages and formats | In writing before production |
| Rights and licences | In the proposal and contract |
These variables are agreed for each commission; projects with different needs do not share one universal schedule, revision allowance, format package or licence.
The proof
We show commissioned work, studio production and independent concepts with the status of each piece stated clearly, rather than presenting every sample as client work.

We recreated the 1971 eruption with AI, material no camera was ever there to capture, published under the name of an institutional client.

A product-content system built from real source material, with brand and product fidelity used as approval criteria. Scope, channel variants and deliverables are defined in the proposal.
Case studyHonesty first
This gets as much attention as the sales pitch because it stops both of us wasting time on the wrong job. Skip us if the piece depends on a real person performing: a spokesperson, a testimonial, a celebrity face. That is a traditional shoot's job, and we will tell you as much on the first call. Live events and observational documentary are the same story: they need a camera on site and someone making judgement calls in the room. If your organisation's brand or legal guidelines exclude generative AI, that is entirely reasonable and we will respect it. And if distribution, not production, is what is actually holding you back, changing the production approach will not fix that: that budget belongs in media.
