Lucha Canaria: The last grip

Independent concept · not commissioned
Two wrestlers gripping in the sand ring, Canarian Wrestling project
Veteran hands gripping the brega in close-up, tradition of Canarian wrestling
Wrestler lifted mid-move in the ring, Canary Islands sport

Lucha canaria is an ancestral wrestling sport practiced since before the Spanish conquest. In the terrero — the sand circle where the wrestlers face each other — every grip is a dialogue between strength, technique, and tradition.

In this in-house exploration we use AI to propose slow motion, cinematic angles and textures of the terrero. It is a visual-method demonstration, not a piece commissioned or approved by a federation.
