Generation and integration

What we get asked

What exactly is the fusion of live-action with AI?

It means integrating footage shot in-camera with elements generated by artificial intelligence: reconstructions of vanished places, extension of environments shot in tight spaces, animation of historical archive photography, removal of modern elements from period shots, integration of generative creatures or characters, and amplification of atmospheric conditions like fire, lava, or fog. The result looks completely real.

How much does AI integration into real footage cost and how long does it take?

A 30-second spot with moderate integration starts at 1,500 euros with a first draft in 72 hours. Projects with complex historical reconstructions or VFX across multiple shots are quoted bespoke. Savings compared to equivalent conventional VFX are usually 40 to 70 percent. Contact studio@eficiencial.com with the footage or briefing to receive a proposal.

Do I need to shoot in a specific way to facilitate AI integration?

It is not essential but highly recommended. We include an AI-ready shooting guide in every project when shooting has not yet taken place. This guide indicates framings, camera movements, marker usage, and lighting conditions that optimize subsequent integration and significantly reduce postproduction time. If you already have the material filmed, we work with what you have.

Do you work with historical archives, old photography, or archival footage?

Yes, it is one of our fields of specialization. We have experience in documentary projects that combine historical photographic or filmic archive with generative recreations. We worked with Fuencaliente City Council on Teneguía: Wings over the volcano, where we recreated the 1971 Teneguía volcano eruption combining real archive with AI sequences. It is applicable to any project with historical or heritage value.

What delivery resolution do you offer and in what formats?

We deliver up to 4K (3840x2160) in standard broadcast and streaming formats: ProRes for postproduction, H.264 and H.265 for final delivery. We also deliver DCP for cinema if the project requires it. We work with the project's color profiles (Rec.709, DCI-P3, HDR10) to guarantee chromatic coherence with the original filmed material. Delivery includes all required formats at no additional cost.
