Certifying is tedious. And you know it.

The certifying technician must focus on inspection, calculation and professional responsibility.
We help organize repetitive documentation without replacing their judgement.

📸

Photos, measurements, sketches

Taking field data, organizing photos, drawing sketches and cataloging rooms can require additional work before calculation.

💻

CE3X: data point by data point

Entering each building enclosure, each opening, each installation. Verifying thermal transmittances, surface areas, orientations. Mechanical, repetitive work.

📄

A report that requires precision

Laying out the PDF, inserting photos, completing tables and drafting recommendations requires consistency and traceability.

🏛️

Regional ministry registration

The certificate and final XML must follow the current procedure and be submitted to the competent authority by an authorized party.

Three steps. You retain technical control.

You send us the field data and we prepare working documentation: a draft report, structured data, an XML sample and a photographic record according to the agreed scope.

1

You send the data

Photos of the property, measurements or sketches, and an audio or text describing the project. What you already do during the visit.

2

We prepare everything

On the agreed schedule you receive the draft report, technical data, XML sample, photographic record and checklist included in the proposal.

3

You review, calculate and sign

As the competent technician, you check the data and assumptions, calculate using a compatible recognized procedure, generate and sign the final certificate and coordinate its registration.

Configurable deliverables for your review.

📋
Draft PDF report
Laid out with a cover, cataloged photos and tables according to scope. The competent technician checks the content before issuing it.
📊
Editable technical data
Working tables in an editable format to support checking and data entry in the selected recognized procedure. Compatibility depends on the current tool and version.
Working XML sample
A template pre-filled with the information available. It does not replace the final XML: the technician must check the applicable schema, compatibility with the version used and generate the calculation result before registration.
📸
Photographic record
Photos cataloged by room and construction element. Numbered, labeled, and ready for the report.
🎨
AI before/after visualizations
If included in the proposal, they illustrate improvement measures for orientation; they do not by themselves establish feasibility or energy savings.
Points-to-check checklist
A supporting list based on the information supplied. Deficiencies, thermal bridges, dampness and installations must be confirmed by the competent technician.

This is how a working sample is presented.

A technical sample prepared by Eficiencial Studio using a reference single-family home. It is not a client commission, an issued certificate or a registered file. Download the files to evaluate the format.

An XML sample to support technical review.

We prepare an XML template with the available data. Its structure, version and possible use must be checked against the applicable official schema, the selected recognized tool and registry requirements before the final XML is generated.

Fragment of the downloadable XML sample

Technical example, not a certificate or a compatibility guarantee. The declared version must be checked in the official CTE XML Viewer and current documentation before use.

The sample illustrates working fields such as DatosDelCertificador, IdentificacionEdificio, DatosGeneralesyGeometria, DatosEnvolventeTermica, InstalacionesTermicas, Calificacion and MedidasDeMejora. The presence of a field does not mean it is complete or validated.

Submission to the registry

CE3X and CE3 are listed among tools promoted for existing buildings, and CERMA among recognized tools for residential buildings. This sample’s compatibility must be checked for the current tool, version and schema in the CTE XML Viewer.

6 reasons to delegate the documentation.

🤖
Automation with professional control
We use automation to organize supplied information; the competent technician retains calculation, verification and responsibility for the certificate.
Schedule based on scope
We set the schedule after reviewing the property, documentation, tool, version and required deliverables.
Traceability for review
We organize data, sources and assumptions so the technician can check and correct them before calculation and signature.
Documented XML sample
We prepare a reviewable basis; the final format depends on the recognized procedure, its version and the competent registry’s requirements.
🏷️
Presentation agreed in the proposal
Visual identity, credits and the client relationship are agreed before work begins.
💵
Defined quotation
The proposal details scope, deliverables, revisions, schedule and price for the specific file.

From visit to registration in 4 steps

Visit and data

You visit the property. You send us photos, measurements, and a description by audio or text.

We prepare everything

On the agreed schedule you receive the drafts and working files included in the proposal.

You review in CE3X

As the competent technician, you check data and assumptions, select the recognized procedure and version, calculate and generate the final certificate and XML.

You sign and coordinate registration

You sign the certificate, and the developer, owner or authorized party submits the documentation to the competent authority under its requirements.

Prepare your next certification file.

Send us the data for your next project. After reviewing it, we will propose scope, deliverables, revisions, price and schedule. The service is documentation support and does not replace the competent technician.

What is CE3X and why do you need the XML?

CE3X is listed in MITECO’s official recognized-documents directory among the simplified procedures promoted for energy certification of existing buildings. XML is part of the certification documentation; our sample helps structure data but does not replace the calculation or the final file generated and reviewed by the competent technician.

What does the XML we deliver contain? +
  • Certifier data — Name, tax ID, qualification, contact
  • Building identification — Address, type, year, climate zone
  • Geometry — Habitable area, compactness, volume
  • Thermal envelope — Building enclosures with thermal transmittances and compositions
  • Openings — Windows and doors with solar factor and air permeability
  • Thermal installations — DHW, heating, cooling
  • Improvement measures — Retrofit proposals with savings estimates
  • Compatibility to be verified — According to the applicable recognized procedure, version and schema
How does registration with the Regional Ministry work? +

Once the competent technician has calculated, reviewed and signed the certificate, the developer, owner or authorized party submits the certificate and final XML to the regional authority. In the Canary Islands, procedure 3137 covers registration in the official registry of building energy efficiency certificates (SICAC).

The IETcc-CSIC CTE XML Viewer supports checking, viewing and editing XML reports. Registry acceptance also depends on current regional requirements.

The usual certification process is laborious: the technician visits the property, takes data on the thermal envelope (walls, roofs, floors, openings), thermal installations (heating, cooling, DHW), and the building's geometric conditions. Then, they manually input each data point into CE3X: each building enclosure with its thermal transmittance, each opening with its solar factor, each installation with its performance.

Our pre-filled sample organizes common XML report fields. Before using it, the technician must confirm the applicable schema and version, check whether the selected recognized procedure supports that workflow, review all values and assumptions, perform the calculation and generate the final files.

According to MITECO’s official information on Royal Decree 390/2021, the certificate must be signed by a competent technician and, for registration, the developer, owner or authorized party submits the certificate and XML report to the regional authority. In the Canary Islands, procedure 3137 requires prior accreditation as a competent technician. The CTE XML Viewer supports checking the file, but that check does not replace professional review or by itself guarantee registry acceptance.
